NN Hellas, member of the NN Group with strong presence in 11 countries in Europe and Japan, will explore possibilities of cooperating with DGTAL by testing AI-powered application GRABBER and its Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) capabilities.
DGTAL’s GRABBER is AI-powered IDP tool that applies different computer vision technologies and natural language processing in documents containing unstructured data, such as invoices, receipts, and diagnosis. The information on these documents is extracted and integrated into larger business systems or any other format. Finally, all this information is converted into machine-readable data and interpreted into actionable insights. This creates enormous time, overhead cost and performance efficiencies by limiting repetitive, manual work to the minimum (checks). GRABBER supports all languages and has a high performance on Greek OCR.
By joining forces with DGTAL to test GRABBER, NN Hellas recognises the great potential of leveraging new technologies to improve data processing in Insurance. NN Hellas plans to run a pilot using GRABBER to process claimants’ submitted out-of-hospital doctors’ receipts and diagnosis for settlement, via the NN portal. With the implementation of tested AI tools, NN Hellas anticipates a significant acceleration in claims processing time as well as enhanced fraud and leakage detection.
Part of the strategic plan of NN Hellas for the next few years, is to gradually enhance AI technology use, to simplify procedures and ensure a smooth customer experience.
Vanda Giannara DGTAL Pathos, Managing Director, states: “Claims management is still a very document-heavy and manual task. Therefore it will benefit tremendously from AI, enabling insurers to automate document processing tasks and deliver personalized and tailored experiences to their customers. I am delighted to partner with NN Hellas and work together to make this happen.”
Philippa Michali, Chairwoman of the Board & CEO NN Hellas comments: “At NN Hellas, our ambition is to be an industry leader, known for our customer engagement and talented people. Currently, we refine our strategic purpose and commitments by putting more focus on becoming an even more digital and data-driven organisation. Incorporating the latest technologies in our work, is at this direction. We are happy to partner with DGTAL to test AI-powered claims processing for the benefit of our customers and employees.”
